hoodiadietreview Hoodia Diet Review: a Healthy Weight Loss ResourceHoodia Diet Review
The herb Hoodia gordonii (or just “Hoodia”) has gained recent attention as an aid for weight loss, due to its appetite suppressing actions. The plant grows in African desert regions, and has been used by the Kalahari San Bushmen for many hundreds of years.

Studies at Brown University indicate that Hoodia appears to work by interrupting or stopping the hunger mechanism in the brain.

Much of the hype about hoodia started after 60 Minutes correspondent Leslie Stahl and crew traveled to Africa in 2004 to try hoodia. They hired a local Bushman to go with them into the desert and track down some hoodia. Stahl ate it, describing it as “cucumbery in texture, but not bad.” She reported that she lost the desire to eat or drink the entire day. She also said she didn’t experience any immediate side effects, such as indigestion or heart palpitations.

That caught everyone’s attention and influenced a whole new product line of herbal weight loss pills, powder, liquids and teas. Since then, hoodia has been featured on CBS 60 Minutes, ABC, NBC Today, BBC, CNN, in Oprah’s “O” Magazine and in other major media.

Hoodia Diet Review at http://hoodiasite.net gives you the A-Z on hoodia gordonii. It has everything you need to know about this amazing plant.

Read the Hoodia Diet Review. There is no doubt that an effective weight loss diet can be significantly enhanced by a safe appetite suppressant like hoodia.

sk_250x250 How to Automatically Find and Post Fresh, Targeted, Highly Unique Content To your Blog Syndicate Kahuna
Time is precious, and it is even more so online, especially if you are in some make money online business. You may be extremely busy and have little time to spend blogging or better yet, you may have several blogs and not enough time to post to each one regularly. At times you may get lazy or demotivated. Whatever the reason the service I am about to describe can really come in handy.

I had those problems until I came upon a free service from Syndicate Kahuna that allows automatic posting of fresh content to blogs. You tell them what content you want and they will start sending posts in as little as 2 minutes after a quick setup. You have the option of having it auto-posted or saved as a draft in your blog admin. This way you can edit the article before posting.

How does it work?
It all begins with a simple process of adding a file to the root of your blog (It only works for self-hosted blogs) and then adding your blog(s) to Syndicate Kahuna. You can then choose up to 10 Categories from which to get content. Next you can choose up to 10 Keywords with the added features of being able to exclude specific keywords and URL’s. You can then specify how many posts you require per day (maximum of 10).

A few minutes after submitting this information, you will see your posts coming in. Are these posts 100% unique? No, but they are unique enough to be accepted as original content by the search engines. The syndicate-kahuna125x125-1 How to Automatically Find and Post Fresh, Targeted, Highly Unique Content To your Blogarticles are run through some kind of article submitter software that changes up some of the words so they can pass off as original. There may be a few grammatical errors, which is why it is a good idea to proof read before publishing.

A neat feature is the ‘Sites Needed’ link on the homepage. These are articles available at Syndicate Kahuna but with little or no demand. You could start a blog and be one of the few persons in that niche. You can also apply to contribute YOUR articles to Syndicate Kahuna.

Getting Paid
Finally, and most importantly, you may earn money from the service. Once you refer someone to join Syndicate Kahuna, they may want to submit content to the Syndicate Kahuna network. When they do and sign up as a paid member, you will receive a 50% commission every month.

Also, if anyone who you refer decides to join Syndicate Kahuna’s big sister (called Traffic Kahuna), you get paid every month on that as well. To make things even more exciting, they are introducing a few more (paid) services in the next few months. If anyone who you refer to Syndicate Kahuna decides to join any of these upcoming services, you get paid every month as a result!

This service is so convenient, you’ll soon be wondering how you ever lived without it. The best thing is: It is totally FREE! Try Syndicate Kahuna.

wp_ban_options_middle-300x217 WP-Ban plugin to Stop Comment Spam from reaching WordPress BlogSpam has been plaguing email for years, but blogging now seems to be getting more that it’s fair share. Up to a few days ago, this blog was plagued with spam. Everything from adult content to fix credit, insurance, make money online, and the list goes on. Akismet brought slight relief in that I could check each comment before accepting it, which was okay in preventing spam comments from being shown on my blog, but I had to spend a lot of precious time going through literally hundreds of comments trying to figure out which was genuine and which was spam. That was until I tried Lester Chan’s WP-Ban plugin. The plugin is so effective, I am now spam free. It allows you to:

  1. Ban IP addresses (usually written like: 194.165.42.151) that are sending spam.
  2. Ban IP address range. These pests sometimes use numbers in a range (dynamic IP addresses) so the plugin allows you to specify an IP range.
  3. You can also ban domain extensions. This was quite welcome as I get nothing but spam from .ru domains so I just banned everything with the .ru extension.
  4. Ban specific domains. Those “sdiuewkwqer.com” domains can be entered into WP-Ban and you’ll never hear from them again!
  5. Ban Referrers.

You can see the statistic for how many times those IP’s are attempting to spam you after being banned. Another handy feature is the use of Wild Cards so there can be generalized banning. After two days, the spam dried up. Sure, there will be new IP addresses coming in to replace those banned, but all you’ll have to do is enter them in WP-Ban as soon as you identify them as spam and they’re out of your life. You can download the plugin from LesterChan.net. Chances are you will see other free plugins that may come in handy.

AWSurveys is a SCAM!

spot-that-scam-150x150 AWSurveys is a SCAM!AWSurveys is another one of those online survey sites offering payments for filling out online surveys.

Here’s how the AWSurveys program works:Membership is free and there is a $6 bonus just for joining. You start by simply giving a short evaluation of 2 websites at a time for which you receive a $4 payment. There is a referral program that pays $1.25 for each person you refer that joins free. In my first session, I netted $27. AWSurveys are supposed to send surveys every month, but the only thing I got was a monthly entry into a prize draw.

I wrote a blog post entitled “Making Money With Online Surveys at AWSurvey.com” in order  to promote it and earn commission for referrals. The post did well and I was ready to claim my commission. However, by the time I was ready to collect, I already knew what to expect as several articles started popping up about the AWSurveys scam.

I applied for them to send payments through Paypal and the first thing they did was to deduct $25 for processing charges. I was supposed to hear frrom them in  5 working days. After about 5 weeks of waiting,  I contacted them and received this ludicrous response:

Hello dejagib,

We have processed and Denied your payment. Your Account has been flagged for what appears to be fraudulent activities, for more information please read below.

This could be for any of the following reasons:

- Same IP Address (All of your referrals signed up from the same computer)

- Low or no Survey taking ratio (Your referrals took 0 surveys)

- Promoting A.W.Surveys in a way that violates our T.O.S.

- Other Fraudulent Activity detections we have in place

Please Open a Ticket with us if you believe your account has been flagged incorrectly. Do not reply to this E-Mail.

Thank you,
A.W.Surveys

I did not even bother to reply. The above “possible” violations are so general, they could tell it to anyone and they couldn’t prove otherwise. All I did to promote them was to get referrals from my blog post. This seems to be a criminal attempt at getting numerous email addresses to sell to mailing lists.

DO NOT waste your time with AWSurveys! Personally, I have given up on surveys and have decided to use my own talents through pay-per-click advertising. I have joined the outstanding ppc training program at PPC-Coach.com and am making money while learning how to promote affiliate offers from reputable CPA Networks like Neverblueads, COPEAC and Revenue Loop.

Going this route, I am sure I won’t get scammed!

Arthritis is a disease that brings on stiffness and pain with swelling and it affects the muscles and the bones, especially the joints where it causes the most damage. The bones are protected in the joints by tissue called cartilage which acts as a buffer between the ends. The cells that the cartilage is made up of are known as the chondrocytes and function just like other glands and organs in the body. All chondrocytes will die and are usually replaced by new cartilage cells.

However, over time inflammation can kill more cartilage cells than the body can replace. This is more so if the body is undernourished and lacks the required nutrients to repair or the joint has suffered an injury. Lack of sufficient cartilage, can cause instability, joint weakness, pain and deformity, all of which affect and interrupt regular activities. Generally, arthritis can be treated with physical therapy, medication, and changes to the lifestyle the individual is used to living. Health care providers use joint replacement surgery as their last resort, once they have tried all of the less intrusive interventions, to try and relieve the discomfort.

Arthritis has two main categories which is based on the areas of the body affected, ‘localized’ or ‘generalized’; this is further divided in to sub categories. The two localized conditions are bursitis and tendonitis; they affect the soft tissues surrounding the bones and joints. A sub-category of this affects one or some of the joints like hip or knee joints. A generalized arthritis condition is a condition where the muscles and the soft tissues get damaged, in this condition there is no swelling or any kind of inflammation on the joints. Fibromyalgia, even though it isn’t associated with joint damage, is a very common form which can be placed under this particular category.

Another sub-category involves inflammation affecting the entire body. Gout, psoriatic arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis are examples of this condition. Still other generalized situations include polymyositis, involving muscles, systemic lupus erythematosus involving the skin, kidneys and or other organs and vasculitis where any organ is involved.

A person can have more than one type of arthritis and it includes more than 100 medical conditions that affect approximately 46 million adults and 300,000 children in the United States. Osteoarthritis is a condition mostly noticed in adults over 60 years, however, it can start at infancy too. The number of people suffering out of this condition is increasing proportionally with the increasing average age of the American population; with old age setting in people suffering with arthritis is increasing day by day.

Arthritis and related illnesses are the cause of major disability in the U.S. and costs over 124 billion dollars a year in medical care and indirect expenses. By taking the time to follow a couple of simple steps, most individuals can help to prevent osteoarthritis: The ability to maintain the appropriate weight and consume fresh vegetables and fruits are a really good source of vitamins D and C. Consumption of calcium is very important, adults must consume about 1000-1500mg calcium every day, exercising daily is a must and one must avoid injuries that may damage the joints.

All About The UK National Lottery

The UK National Lottery was originally started by the Camelot Group in 2004. It is the biggest lottery in the UK. Millions of people play every week, and it is now more popular than at any time and it is not hard to see why.

So how does the UK Lotto work?

There are 49 balls in a draw machine and six main balls are selected by that machine. Then a final ball is drawn called the ‘bonus ball’. This counts towards a prize only if you match five numbers. Prizes start at 3 winning balls and the full prize money is awarded to anybody who matches all 6 balls. Generally if you do match 3 balls then the prize will be 10 UK pounds. If you match all six balls then depending upon how many other people also got six balls, the prize is usually millions of pounds.

In order to take part, you fill in a slip marking the numbers that you want to choose. You could also choose a ‘lucky dip’ where a machine picks six random numbers for you. The total prize money for the lottery is made up of 45 percent of the ticket sales.

The UK Lotto is drawn two times per week and it is shown live on BBC One. There are twelve different machines that can be used for the draw which are selected randomly to make the results fair. Whilst it started off as ‘The National Lottery’ in 2002 it was renamed ‘Lotto’ and that is what many people now refer to it as.

As well as the Lotto game, there are also other games that you can take part in including Dream Number, Dream Number and Daily Play.

Chances of winning?

The chances of you winning the lottery jackpot are slim. However, everybody has the same chance and there is usually at least one winner every week. It is much more likely that you will win smaller amounts, but as everybody has the same chance of winning there is no harm in buying a ticket because the next lucky person could be you. Alternatively you could join a UK lottery syndicate for a better chance of winning.

The UK Lotto is still an extremely popular game over ten years after it started. Winners have come from many different backgrounds, and all ages from the elderly to 16 year olds. Anybody can win just as long as they have a ticket. You can check the UK lotto results here.

Equatorial Guinea on the map.

Equatorial Guinea on the map.

With a Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita of $50,200, the tiny oil rich West Central African country of Equatorial Guinea is the second richest in the world. Only Luxemburg, with a per capita income of $68,800 has a higher GDP per capita. Coming in third is the United Arab Emirates with $49,700.

The country has a population of 551,201 (July 2007 estimate) and lies between Cameroon and Gabon. The capital is Malabo.

Equatorial Guinea gained independence in 1968 after 190 years of Spanish rule. This tiny country, composed of a mainland portion plus five inhabited islands, is one of the smallest on the African continent. President OBIANG NGUEM MBASOGO has ruled the country for over two decades since seizing power from his uncle, then President MACIAS, in a 1979 coup.  Although nominally a constitutional democracy since 1991, the 1996 and 2002 presidential elections - as well as the 1999 legislative elections - were widely seen as being flawed. The president controls most opposition parties through the judicious use of patronage. Despite the country’s economic windfall from oil production resulting in a massive increase in government revenue in recent years, unfortunately, there have been few improvements in the country’s living standards. Source: aneki.com

So where is all this wealth? There should be some world development standard at the UN that requires countries to spend a certain percentage of Income on development. there should even be a ceiling on the percentage of revenue the big oil company can keep.

Malabo Oct 2001

This is a relatively sparsely populated country. With an area of 28,051 square km (10,831 square miles), the population density (July 2007 estimate) is 19.65 persons per square km or 50.89 persons per square mile (Jamaica is only 4,411 square miles with a population of less than 2.7 million!). Although they only get 12% of the oil revenue, there should be enough to go around for the small population. That high GDP per capita should be contributing to rapid development. The recent oil price increase should make them even richer! However, let’s give them a little time. Oil was only discovered there 14 years ago.
